Ballads

 Kia Ora Whanau!
Back again with another post but this time it's about ballad poems.
This whole term we were leaning about ballad writing and the rhythm of it.

Ballad writing are suppose to rhyme like A A B B A.
Our Ballad writing are again about Camp this year and we had to write about what was fun or what you hated about camp. I wrote about a lot, basically the girls make loud noises , spotlight and another night with the girls. I mean we had a great time without the Year 5- 7s. I would be dying.

Anyways I hope you like my ballad writing

-------------------------------------------------------------

We all found a place to hide

They’re coming! I lied,

The girl got mad

While I got sad,

At least I didn’t cry!

It was the second round

We aren’t supposed to make a sound

So they all said shut up

But couldn’t even say yup

Then  we all got found.

We were annoyed

But couldn’t avoid

This night was boring

And also soring

I wish I can play with an Android

Golden Rule

Kia Ora! Today we made DLO's of The Golden Rule!! This is the Chapters and verse Luke 6: 26-42
Basically these are just some of the verse I put in my DLO so like yeah.

The Golden Rule is : Luke 6:31 which is "31 Do to others as you would have them do to you." So we had to just make a DLO of that and show the meaning of it!

This is my DLO of the Golden Rule. It's sorta simple just 'cause I gave tracing around symbol.

My Sessions

 Kia Ora Whanau,

Today, We had this little Toolkit day thing where we learn about new stuff on your Chromebook. I'm gonna talk about my first session with my school (STB).

On my session we learn about how to do stop motion!!! It was really fun and it was such a good explanation. Here we learn about how to use it. There's different controls that makes the stopmotion. We were told to use a piece of paper and see how we go. I don't have a film of me cause I forgot to save but I totally recommend.

We did other things as well but I didn't have as much interest in it. but overall it was good.
Something that was really good was me actually tryna do something I've never have done!

Koru's

Kia Ora! Lately we've been learning about Koru's and Raewyn Harris.

Here are some facts I have learnt about Koru's .

Koru's are called loop in english. It means that the koru is giving a brand new life, growth, strength and peace. You know how cool that is?! Koru are usually seen on peoples necks. A lot of people make necklaces using the shape of a Koru. Here is one if you have never seen one.

These are seen in wet bushes around public parks.
These are the most common plant around New Zealand!

I hope you learnt something new
